Omschrijving
The Springdale Warriors are a dysfunctional, winless, high school boys' basketball team who spend more time fighting each other than their opponents. Coach Eddie is at a loss to find a way to get them to work together. It will take a miracle. When an elderly and weakened court wizard casts a desperate spell for warriors to come to the rescue of the besieged kingdom of Aerthos, it goes drastically awry, crossing time and worlds. The miscast spell sweeps up the Springdale Warriors, transporting them to the medieval kingdom, where the stunned boys are asked to save a world. What follows is a humorous journey of growth and bonding as the boys and their coach try to stay alive in a land where the people look to them as saviors. The boys soon come to realize that the only way to survive is to trust each other and work together as the team Coach Eddie has been trying to get them to be all season. But with time running out for them to return home and the kingdom to survive, a dangerous plan is enacted. However, getting home is only part of the problem. They first must battle an evil lord, his wizards, and a massive army.
