Omschrijving

Star, a young Mustang, is hunted by a ruthless leader, Shade, who has killed Star's father, Abrazo, and now wishes to kill him, and bring an end to any hope of an ancient prophecy coming true. Shade's war to control the Prairie herds is almost complete. His Zellats roam the lands oppressing all who oppose him. Yet, in this dark time, there are still a few that still believe. Set free by Flying Hawk, son of Chief Brown Elk, Star, is persuaded by his friend Migisi the Eagle that he must go north to continue his quest. So, the lone stallion heads off on his treacherous journey to the frozen seas in search of the great wise White Bear. From there he must travel east across the snowy peaks of the Great Mountain to find the mystical Guardians of Arion, an ancient Order, where he hopes to discover his part in this prophecy. It will demand a greater sacrifice than any creature has ever faced, but with the help of Goran the Wolf, Migisi the Eagle, Kara the Mountain Lion, and his band of friends, the young horse will discover his true powers and return a proud Mustang of the Plains. He must eventually summon all his courage to face the destiny he was born for; to conquer those that drove him away and bring peace to his world again.
