Merlor and all his patriotic friends, choosing to end the war, are banished to Chaos V, a hidden planet in the Pleiades star cluster where they decide to stay and set up a new government of self-rule. They enjoy Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, and even invite a former (and future) President of the United States to help them develop their new planet.
