This exercise, which has taken three years to complete is true to the biblical accounts in geography, chronology, characters and teachings. On those occasions where the author adds to the biblical narrative for continuity or context, such additions are noted as such. This approach has led to some interesting biblically supported observations about the people and events of that place and time which will enrich the reader's appreciation for the commitment and sacrifices made by Jesus and all of his followers during their eventful and tumultuous ministry.
