Juliana sees through the demon's disguise and rejects him, causing the demon to reveal his true form and attack her. Juliana is eventually martyred for her faith, but not before converting her executioners to Christianity.The Legend of St. Juliana is a classic example of hagiography, or the writing of saints' lives.
