Chris Pope is an artist stuck selling driftwood to tourists. So when sex kitten Bernice comes to him with a plan to rip off her husband's safe and run away together, he is sorely tempted. But Pope can't go through it. He leaves the husband unconscious and the safe open but can't bring himself to take the dough. The next morning, the husband is dead, the money is gone, and his prints are all over the place. Was it Bernice who killed her husband? All Pope knows is that he's been framed. He only has one chance now--to stay one step ahead of the cops, and find the money himself.

GUN THE DAME DOWN

"I walked into it with my eyes wide open..." Or so private detective Bill Death thinks when he responds to a frantic request from Grace Carter to come out to her house. There he meets Kirk Adams, a bundle of nerves who confesses that he came to kill Grace's husband, Irving. But someone else had already shot Irving dead. Grace swears to Kirk's innocence and hires Death to clear him of the murder. Death quickly discovers that many people wanted Irving Carter dead. The case is complicated by Grace's hellcat step-daughter, Nora, and the former Mrs. Carter, Virginia Burley, who lives in the house with them. And then there's Corfoni and Lenny, two hired thugs who want to close Death's eyes--permanently.

ANGRY ARNOLD

Arnold was in a car accident a few years ago, and hasn't really been the same since. Arnold has these urges. Sexual urges. He can't control them, and he can't escape them. It isn't his fault, but unfortunately, when Arnold gives in to his urges, someone has to die. A young lady. One of them. Like the pretty red-head he sees leaving a restaurant one night. He has to find out where she lives. But the pretty red-head turns out to be married to Police Detective Bill Maddern who is working a serial murder case. One where the killer taunts the police by sending them a part of the murdered victim's body. What Maddern doesn't realize is that this same murderer is now stalking his wife--a killer named Arnold.
