The research that grounds this book was developed into a center for visual rehabilitation of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo- Brazil and its main objective is to describe the daily routine of visually impaired people, repporting the abilities and difficulties of those individuals, as well as the relationship between disability and the environment in which they are inserted.
