Six centuries have passed since the last pestilence almost consumed the race of Men. A blood moon rises in a pitch-black, fog-laden night. Along with it a horde of unsightly beasts. Riding out to meet the storm is a single coroner, Resurrectionist Paolo Reveré. The Coroner is the last sentinel standing between the innocent people of the realm and a bestial pestilence of murder and melancholy. Justice must be served, and order must be restored. Be it by flame or by cold forged steel.
