The Christian Faith / Now & Then E-BOOK

     The genesis for this book/The Christian Faith began over 30 years ago when an extensive study and review of Christianity and it's core teachings began as a simple quest to know what it means to be a Christian, and what are the essential truths and doctrines of orthodox Christianity. This proved to be a tedious and lengthy journey that meant hundreds of hours researching and examining key words and scriptures in the Bible (both Catholic & Protestant) that most Christians include in their catechism and statements of faith.

     This book centers around the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the Christian doctrines that have been considered the "orthodox foundation" for Christians since the first disciples of Christ took the Gospel into all the world at that time to the present.  While there exist serious doctrinal differences within Christianity's 3 major branches(Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism), and they are addressed; this book's focus is on what Christians as a whole agree on and teach as the essential truths of the Christian Faith. 

     This book was going to include a lenghty treatment of The First Principles of Christ /Heb.6:1-3; but we soon realized that it would be better to release that as a separate book that will follow this book as: Volume 2 ; in a series of writings under the umbrella of The Christian Faith. Those principles, also referred to often as: The Doctrine of Christ; are the basic foundational truths that all Christians need to know if they are to go unto maturity as followers of Jesus Christ.  We hope to have that published in 2024 or possibly 2025 with God's help. 

     Our ultimate aim in writing this book, is to reveal Jesus Christ as the center, essence, and foundation from which Christianity stands. We hope anyone reading this book finds that only a relationship with Jesus Christ can give their lives meaning and purpose.  That is our prayer and hope.
