Follow investigative journalist Bill Crowther as he uncovers a great Western conspiracy to conceal the truth about the origins and early history of human civilisation, that if released to the public, could turn the world as we know it upside down.
Crowther begins to suspect that all western history revolves around a bizarre double mystery, a mystery involving the lost tribes of Israel and the missing apostles of Christ. Eleven tribes vanished from the Old Testament, leaving only the tribe of Judah, the Jews. Twelve apostles vanish from the New Testament, being replaced by the imposter Paul. Twelve tribes, twelve apostles, and twelve Gnostic heresies.
How are they all connected, and how did they shape the trajectory of the Western world? Are the world's Christians unknowingly the victims of a cruel Catholic Crucifixion-Salvation Hoax? Has there been a great conspiracy by the Church over the past sixteen centuries to monopolise truth and conceal the true understanding of our history and our purpose? Is salvation through atonement simply a Church creation? Are we our own saviours? Must we look inward for salvation as Krishnamurti said?
This novel is based on fact. Many of the events described in these pages happened to the author in the early 1980s.
