One day, while feeling nostalgic because it hit me that my children were grown and moving on to start their life on their own, I started thinking of the first time I took their hands in mine, and every time they took my hand since then and the significance it had, and still has to this day.

I wondered how every mother in the world handled this feeling and decided to include each mom from every walk of life into my story.
