People and animals jumping at random between parallel Earths. Merlin and his friends trapped and out of contact. What's going on in the Multiverse? The Terran Team try to sort it, discovering a rift within the multiversal fabric that's keeping open the barriers between parallel worlds. Their investigations lead them to the virtual Detainment World, with its bird-like sentinels, alien detainees, and the challenges of the Training Arena, set in a strange virtual world of its own. Can the team do anything to stop the havoc caused by alien animals materializing in Oakham? Can they restore contact with Merlin? Can they work out how to seal the multiversal rift before it grows too large to seal? This is their most challenging challenge yet.
