For some reason everyone gets hung up on obedience. You ask a kid to do something, and it may or may not get done. If it gets done it may be on the kid's terms and timeline. The problem is adults ask kids to do things; instead they should be telling kids what they want them to do and they should expect the child to do it when they are told. In short we have to stop asking and start telling. That's what this book is about. It gives the reader the evolution of this asking mentality and instructs them on how to begin to get kids to do what they are told to do it with the right attitude. A must read for any parent or teacher
