This is a powerful testimony of Steve Hodges and his journey with Christ. The story begins with his promise to be a servant of Christ for life after his family was hit by a train in 1992, and walks through his 30+ years of helping his customers and friends. Then, after suffering a massive heart attack and multiple strokes, every aspect of Steve's life abruptly and significantly changed. Through the pages of this book, Steve shares the pain, struggle, and emotion of this life altering event and reveals to his readers how God continues to use these challenges to strengthen his faith and forever change his life. A truly inspiring story. Steve Hodges was born and raised in Texas. Since 1983, he has been a small business owner in Somerville, Texas where he valued his customers and served the community for over 38 years. Steve has been married for 37 years and has 4 kids, 2 son-in-laws and 5 grandchildren. He has always had a passion for writing, whether writing poems, letters to family or just fun stories for his kids and grandkids. But after his recent experiences with God, he felt called to share his testimony and experiences with a larger audience. After experiencing loss of many of his motor skills and his ability to walk/run due to a heart attack and stroke, he has hopes of regaining his strength to do the things he loves most....spending time with family, attending church in person and of course, fishing in one of the many ponds on the family ranch.
