The present investigation entitled, "Standardization of dehydration techniques for cut flowers viz., rose, gerbera, gomphrena" was conducted in two separate aspects with two experiments. Both the experiments were handled at P. G. laboratory, Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh during the year 2014. Experiment-I entitled "Effect of drying conditions and embedding media in cut flowers viz., rose, gerbera and gomphrena" was conducted with different drying conditions viz., shade drying (C1) and sun drying (C2) with four embedding media viz., sea sand (M1), river sand (M2), borax (M3) and silica gel (M4). Similarly, "Effect of oven temperature and embedding media in cut flowers viz., rose, gerbera and gomphrena" was included in Experiment II. It was comprised with two oven temperature like 40 0C (T1) and 45 0C (T2) with different medias as taken in Experiment-I. Both experiments were tried with factorial concept in completely randomized design (FCRD) and replicated thrice. Observations were recorded at an interval of one day and at five hours in Experiment I and II, respectively.
