Omschrijving
Beth is on her mission with AJ and Gracie. She's left home to fulfill her duties as an officer in the US Army. And, while she's tested, she remembers what she has back at home waiting for her. She made them a promise and she plans on keeping it. She's coming home, but she just hopes that they still want her when she gets there. Kylie and Nikki are doing their best to keep training. They been working with Kenji and Carmen to open the dojo in Vancouver. They are tasked with keeping the family together in Vancouver while others are back in Lexington. The family is split and trying to keep going while Beth is on her mission, but they quickly realize that Beth was the glue holding them together. Kylie was trying to step up into the role, but she wasn't sure that she was the right person for the job. And, Nikki just wanted to fight the world and she dealt with her anger. Monica and Layla were in Lexington. Monica was waiting and trying to keep her children's hopes up about Beth. They'd never dealt with Beth being deployed. She was determined that they were going to make it through this, like she had so many times before. At least this time, Beth didn't tell her to move on if she didn't come. She promised to come home. And, Layla was trying to navigate going to college while Beth was gone. She didn't want to think about Beth not coming back, so she's thrown herself into her studies. She turned down every roll that Bobbie sent her. All Layla is thinking about is school and Beth. She didn't have time for cameo spots and side quests, because that is what Beth was doing.
