With images from the local press, some fine aerial shots taken by a local land agent, and material from an avid collector of Shrewsbury ephemera, it offers a nostalgic look at the town as it developed and modernized after World War II, and a fascinating glimpse of an age when acts such as Doris Day and the Beatles topped the charts, and the traffic wardens in Shrewsbury wore miniskirts.
