Omschrijving

Melanie Ironstone was minding her own business when her place of employment began burning down around her. Trapped in her little office she despaired at getting out alive. She was saved by one of New York's finest fireman. The bad news was, they thought she might have started the fire!

Her name is only partially cleared and she gets caught up in the investigation to clear her name and ultimately save her life. Falling for the fire investigator and the man who saved her from the fire was not what she expected might happen.

Through the investigation, Mel discovers confidence in herself and her two new boyfriends. Enough so that she risks herself to save her girlfriend from the same people who were after her. Unknowingly she brings more trouble down on her head. She knew she was changing now if only she could live through it, she would be Rising from the Flames.
