Omschrijving

Mangetsu is an 18-year old Shinobi Chancellor of the Japanese Caliphate. After a long fought war for independence from the tyranny of the Shinobi Republic two years ago, he assumes the authority of the country alongside his comrades. In the absence of his friend and leader, Hyunlei, who goes on his honeymoon, Mangetsu assists Hyunlei's cousin in running the country. One night, he is visited by an old comrade who pleads him to help her village, as the former Head of State of the Republic has been resurrected through the use of black magic: the Sapphire Dragon Ninja, and jinn, Ifrit. The demon wreaks havoc and pillages the village of Shinobi Princess Shu'a, and the only way to subdue him is with Mangetsu's help. Wasting no time, the two gain approval from Hyunlei's Council to scout the village to carefully work out a strategy until reinforcements arrive, but things take a turn for the worst when Ifrit himself appears before them ready to progress his plans of infinite power and revenge. Will Mangetsu and Princess Shu'a be able to take down one of the most powerful jinn of all time alone? Return of the Sapphire Dragon Ninja will introduce Islamic teachings within this young adult fantasy in an effort to bring Islam to a better light despite what most people think of it. It is part of The Legacy of Ya-Duhrun series taking place in a fantasy adaptation of a world where Islam is prominent alongside special elemental powers and elves and dwarves living amongst humans.
