Omschrijving

Playway to English is a three-level course for teaching English to children in Pre-junior, Junior A and Junior B. Playway to English uses the SMILE approach: skill-oriented learning; multi-sensory learner motivation; intelligence-building activities; long-term memory storage of the language through music, movement, rhythm and rhyme; and exciting sketches, stories and games. Children should learn to use English confidently through listening and speaking, before they are taught to read or write. Language is presented through video (or audio cassette/CD where video is not available), picture cards, story cards, songs, rhymes and stories. The range of components and the organized sequence of activities should make this a course that teaches English while contributing to children's overall intellectual development, their basic motor skills, and their social and emotional awareness.
