We have to admit that when 2020 started, so many of us had great expectations; but there were also many of us who were stuck in places of despair. The unfortunate reality, for so many of us in this world, is that we are living in a state of limited expectation - silently praying for a glimpse of what once was a collection of our hopes and dreams. I decided to write this book for the people out there who find themselves living someone else's Plan-A...not their plan...but a plan that was built by someone else, for someone else. But, if you are stuck in life - if you are convinced that the only option for you is to live out someone else's picture of joy, then this is the moment to press pause. I am convinced that God has created each of us with gifts and talents that are uniquely our own. And there is nothing in the world that can stop us from fulfilling our purpose, other than the limitations in our minds. We are indeed extraordinary; destined to live our best lives in the service and care of one another.
