Omschrijving

Willow, a young, beautiful Glaswegian girl, is visited one day by a vision of a dove sitting on branches encrusted with emerald and diamonds and, by Bambino, a real speaking butterfly. The butterfly appeals to Willow to join him in his quest - to travel to help Jigo, a macaque monkey who has lost the power to make his magic carpet fly, and to join the other macaques at the hot springs. Knowing that she has a week until her father returns, Willow agrees. The quest introduces her to an extraordinary and vividly-imagined cast of characters, including Sushi, the giant mermaid from New York; Tora, the evil genius who is attempting to take control of the planet; and Kata, the Samurai warrior with whom Willow seems to be falling more than a little in love.
