Mr Robin in My Garden covers cool and interesting facts about our much loved Robin - do check it out please! In my 'In the Garden' series of books, I aim to encourage children from 4-9 years to learn about the animals in their gardens. I want to encourage the understanding of how important some of these creatures are - whether pretty, ugly, slimy, quiet or noisy. They can be read with the child or they can read the book themselves. There are loads of pictures (actual and cartoon) to keep your child's interest. As a grandma myself I understand the value of books to encourage excitement and interest and the fun of reading and learning together! The biggest goal is for my books to encourage questions and ultimately a general understanding of what may seem like another world to them! These books are kept as factual as possible but I do keep a licence to incorporate a story line if appropriate.
