Introduction

I have been writing parts of the chapters, stories and prose in this book for over thirty years. It's a good thing I started back then, because I would not be able to remember them now with the clarity and facts that are written here. The insights and opinions I have about human sexuality have been developing from the moment I first recognized that girls weren't here just to be teased.
And then around 1967 I realized that our culture, religion and politics were all cooperating to marginalize the value of women, demonize sex for profit, and bolster the male ego. So I started researching and writing about this disaster.
Life is difficult enough without creating more problems by making sex, drugs and rock & roll into sins! Killing, stealing, bigotry, greed and corporate crimes are real sins and are immoral. Sex, drugs and rock & roll are the things we do to make life enjoyable by helping us forget the real sins of our society.
You might call this a sexual memoir, but its real purpose has been to figure out, and record for myself and anybody who will listen, the mechanics and emotions of the human desire to live and procreate. In this book I will explain the sexual revolution, and its importance, to those who missed it. I will also try to define good taste, bad taste, morality and immorality. Good luck with that John.
I lived as a sexually active adult before, during, and after the sexual revolution. Sex itself is really very simple, that is the animal part, but the human part is complex. It is the relationships that create the problems.
Being completely in love with a woman leaves many men feeling vulnerable. But some of us know that true love is worth the effort. Giving your heart to someone is not a weakness, but a strength.
The consequences of our "giving in" are worth the companionship we can share with this mysterious creature, whom we are totally intrigued, enamored, amused and confounded by all at the same time. Women keep us guys alive.
I would hope that women who have been given the unreserved heart of a man, will accept it with reverence, for it is not easy for most men to give up their ego.
