Poltergeist (9): Despite all efforts, no trace of the spell which had transported Tre to Earth, could be found. The magic book remained missing and no one had any idea where it could be. However, on the domestic front, due to the continual nagging of Vanish, David and Vivian finally decided to go out together in order to talk about their elusive and undeclared relationship. But their discussion becomes interrupted by a very unusual occurrence, and this prompts speculation about the emergence of another creature. If proven, then the magic book must be back in operation again, and it could be traced via Harry, Vanish's dimensional pet. Even so, this latest 'creature' displays atypical characteristics, making everyone wonder if it could be traced with any success.
On the trail of the puzzling intruder, David, Vanish, Carl, Mel and Simone stumble upon a murderous mystery, when they locate the body of the book's owner. It's up to the enigmatic and demure Simone to try to make sense of this gruesome discovery. What she finds out leads everyone on a wild chase around the streets, endeavoring to claim the magic book before a wave of monsters is unleashed on the city. Homecoming (10): David and Vivian have tentatively decided to reunite. Well, to attempt a reunion, anyway. However, there remains the problem of Vanish and Simone. What will happen to them? Vivian suggests adoption, but this suggestion makes David rather wary. Vanish, too, has his doubts, although he appears willing to try.
In the meantime, Tre has summarily decided she would like to return home and Mel announces that his study of the magic book makes this a feasible option. Vanish then suggests that everyone should accompany Tre on her journey. Carl, naturally enough, dismisses this suggestion out of hand, but Irene persuades him to come along. And so, soon after, they arrive on Tre's world, none the worse for wear.
But all is not well. As Tre acts as a tour guide by showing everyone the sights, an intriguing and fascinating inhabitant of her world sends a message to Simone about an imminent danger. It's then up to the visitors to prevent a momentous disaster from occurring. Thankfully, it is the unpredictable and bizarre powers of the diminutive Simone which ultimately save the day, by employing an amazing strategy.
