Reno blackjack dealer Casey Madison was thrilled to help the gorgeous PI Jeff Haley catch a card cheater. But Casey knew better than to fall for him. After a string of loser boyfriends, she knows she's lousy at picking men.

Jeff Haley's involvement with Casey ended when he nailed the cheater. But he's dragged back into her wacky life when photos of an adulterous politician from his latest case get stored on the same thumb drive as Casey's vacation pictures.

Before Jeff can recover the photos, Casey's already mailed the thumb drive to her sister in San Diego. She insists she go with Jeff to retrieve his memory stick, but since Casey's terrified of flying, they have to drive. That's more than 500 miles Jeff will be trapped with the zany, luscious blonde in his car.

What Casey accidentally on purpose keeps to herself is that the card cheater was sprung from jail and has been stalking her. As they drive to San Diego, the cheater is in hot pursuit. With one slapstick plan after another, they manage to stay one step ahead of him.
