Iron Age hill forts, Neolithic tombs, standing stones are all to be found and due to the remoteness of the area it has remained unspoilt. *The images used to illustrate the book have been taken from original photographs to recapture the bygone days of travel, a theme that was widely expressed in many travel posters promoting holiday destinations during the mid twentieth century.
