Based on part of my life; I have created this fictional short story about a character named Humphrey. It is a brief synopsis about being sexually abused within the institution of the church in a satanic ritual to become the cult's next spiritual leader and the process of coming out of what held my mind captive through guilt and shame. Furthermore, it is about opening up about the abuse in a safe environment while in hospital and developing healthy relationships that avoided the alternative lifestyle. Through secular healing, I understood why I had to go back to the church and be a member of it. It was in order to flush out the demons that entered my soul so that I could forgive my abusers.
