Along the way, he first stops at The Port of Pearls and learns about court politics. Not to mention, he basks in the daily perils of life in the countryside. Everything is perfect. Or so it seems.

Young, naïve, and full of brimming potential, he indulges in the glory of his fame. But although Markus is wiser than most seventeen-year-olds, he still lacks wisdom. Therefore he succumbs to his emotions and powers.

When a Dragon attacks the port city, his life suddenly turns dark. And now, he becomes the blame target of ridicule from an entire nation. They blame him for the savage attack on their countryside.
