Omschrijving
This is the 3rd text edition & the first illustrated one, 12-12-2013. This book explores the making of the later myths about Santa Claus. It tracks down through the centuries what happened to the early Christian beliefs of Christ's world wide treks, that were also defended & used to answer early anti-Christians' charges that Christ neglected other nations. Having gone all over the world and into the spirit prison, & appearing, as a spirit, to prophets in other lands before his birth. He was not neglectful, but is merciful. There are many art works, writings, monuments, artifacts, legends, customs, & lore around the world that are like Christ's foot prints, evidences as to where he went. The ritualistic dramas of the nations also offer some clues too. How is it that Christianity, in many places, legendized this doctrine during the dark ages, on down to modern times? How is it that other nations also turned the memories of Christ's visits to them, into their own myths? This book explores these issues, with original illustrations, and drawings of old art works. It explores these questions: Did Christ go throughout the ancient Americas? Into England, Ireland, Germany, Russia, China, Japan, India, and the islands of the seas? Did he go into Africa, Australia, and many other lands, and even to other inhabited worlds? The testimony of history, Near Death Experiences, NDEs, and many other evidences, seems to suggest these real possibilities. According to Matthew 25, Christ would be out wandering in different guises, as the poor, leper, homeless wanderer, stranger, a small child in need, etc. These became the foundational aspects of early to later Christmas traditions about Christkind, or Christkindl, German for Christ-child. Kriss Kringle is an Americanization of Christkindl. Which are earlier versions of Santa Claus. This book invites the reader to get back to the earlier traditions, earlier beliefs about Christ going to other nations. (This is the 3rd text edition and the first illustrated edition.
