Using simple and linear language, the poet Irma Kurti offers us once again a babel of sensations through her stream of consciousness, a sort of diary in verse that opens the doors of reflection to intimate and existential themes.
This collection includes poems focused on love, including the eternal bond between parents and children, which not even death and the most tragic circumstances in history could ever scratch.
Kurti gets straight to the heart of the reader, undermining, as always, the idea that poetry is an instrument for the chosen few, because narrative forms, with its literary frills and artifice, do not belong to her stylistic elements. Emotion itself speaks through memory, images, and thoughts, described in such a precise manner as to allow the readers to tiptoe into the author's life, without taking off their shoes.
