God was not alone in the beginning, for the Word of God was with God, and the Word of God spoke all things into being. All things were created by Him and for Him, and without Him there would have been nothing created. The Word of God was the genesis of creation, and the light of all living things.

The author considers the greatest tragedy in his life to be that he didn't know the Lord sooner.
