The Conference on European Democracy (EuDEM) brings together practice and theory, thus bridging the gap between politics, administration and science. Only the exchange of these views will put all interested parties completely in the picture regarding current political challenges. Europe needs policies that deliver answers in the fields of prevention and management of crises, and it needs these answers in a comprehensible time frame that allows politicians to proactively shape our common future and security.
