Samantha Avery holds the very old piece of paper in her shaking hands. The treasure map terrifies her. Without a second thought the successful fashion magazine editor packs her bags, leaves Chicago and heads into the vast wilderness of the Yukon.

Hunter Gray, local outfitter and guide, waits at the airport expecting to pick up Sam Avery. His instructions were clear—a trip up the river heading to the old Charlie Avery cabin.
