After the Second Iraq War, in the Baghdad still occupied by US troops, a ragpicker decides to collect some of the human remains that he finds scattered on the streets and form with them a single corpse in order to give them a proper burial. But, to his surprise, the body comes to life and ruins the day-to-day life of his motley community: an old woman who has been waiting for years for the return of her son that disappeared in the war with Iran, a miserly hotelier who wants to take control of all the neighbourhood buildings, or a young journalist who, while trying to forget a woman, will be on the trail of this unique creature.
