About the Author Adrian Kooistra is a Sunshine Coast writer, adventurer and advocate for people with disabilities. Adrian has cerebral palsy which effects his mobility and speech, so he writes using facilitated communication. Adrian believes that everyone can succeed in their dreams if they really believe in it! About the Illustrator Sam Thomas is an artist and graphic designer who grew up on Buddina Beach in Queensland. He graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2018, with a Bachelor Degree in Creative Industries, majoring in Graphic Design and Creative Advertising.
