Omschrijving

Three eleven year old children from different families suddenly find themselves without a mother. At first angry, soon resentful, then finally resigned, Alex, Missy, and Richie form a triumvirate in school to deal with the perplexities of the new family dynamic they find themselves in.Their fathers, all in their late thirties, also find themselves facing the daunting task of single parenthood. A high-profile defense attorney, a cop with a hair-trigger temper, and a big bear of an ironworker are all learning with each new situation, inadvertently creating as many missteps as minor victories. This is the story of three families finding themselves enveloped within the nexus of unbearable pain and cautious optimism.
