W. is a French author who had a long-repressed passion: writing. A lifelong reader, his entire life has been fed by fantastic authors such as Jules Verne, H. P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, Philip K. Dick, Tim Powers, Peter Straub, Anthony Burgess, Pierre Boulle, Richard Matheson Sr. and son, and Anne Rice.
