Just when Battalion 1 thought things couldn't get any worse, Captain Rhodes and his team find themselves prisoners of the Masks, a mysterious army of robot invaders. Fighting this overwhelming force is hard enough.
With the Masks razing the galaxy one solar system after another, the Aemon Legion is betting everything that Battalion 1 will be able to stop the Masks from killing billions of people and maybe wiping out the human race entirely.
There's just one problem. The same technology the battalion would use to fight the Masks recognizes them as its own kind. Now no one in Battalion 1 can tell friend from enemy. Is everyone in the battalion really a robot after all? Is anyone in the battalion human anymore—or are the Masks human after all?
With the lines between human and robot and friend and enemy blurring more and more by the day, Rhodes and his team will have to summon all their strength, intelligence, and grit to save not just themselves but whatever is left of humanity. The battalion just has to figure out a way to save their own lives and their sanity first.
Warning: This is good old-fashioned, high-octane action adventure sci-fi. If hard science is your thing, you'll probably be disappointed, but if you're looking for a non-stop rollercoaster ride of danger, space action, and ass-kicking adventure, this is for you.
