Made a scapegoat, Enchantress Hiresha chooses to flee by ship rather than battle her own countrymen. A journey over the Dream Storm Sea terrifies the Lord of the Feast, but he comes along to ensure Hiresha does not harm the sea monsters too badly. The enchantress and illusionist escape into a rowboat, with a maniac guide who claims to once have traveled the seas on the back of a dragon.
The storm-scarred waters have a bad reputation to keep down, and the ship is pummeled by both breakers and behemoths of the deep. But better a sea white with fangs and wracked with magical storms than imprisonment among false friends.
