How do Christians develop and maintain a close relationship with God in amongst everything else we have going on in our lives? With so many things crying out for our attention every day how do we connect with God and ensure that, as Christians, He comes first in our lives?Jesus lived in the first century with no electricity, no smart phones, no internet, no television, no streaming services, no dating apps, no exams, no college or university, no pensions, investments or even bank accounts. He was not married nor did He have any children. He had no mortgage or debt or credit cards so how can what He taught His followers 2000 years ago in a very different society still apply to us today in a society that moves so fast it's hard to keep up sometimes?That's what this book is about. I want to show you how what Jesus taught and also what He practiced is the perfect advice and ways for us to live today. What worked for His followers back then will work just as well for us today if we apply what Jesus taught and practice it in our lives.We all have struggles and problems and worries and fears and issues and drama happening in our lives. We have so much going on around us that we forget to take care of what is going on inside of us. My prayer and hope is that this book will help you in your walk with Jesus and relationship with the Lord in the middle of all the craziness that bombards each and every one of us every day.Can we unplug our devices and screens and plug into the Lord?
