Anya, Mark, Oliver, and Harry must fight for survival against spectral beings known as "wind ghosts" that draw on a hidden power source.

United with the scavengers, they confront the source of the ghosts and liberate the city. Back in the functioning world, they find refuge in the Substation, a haven protected by Anya's father, Brandon, a brilliant scientist.

The Fedorans and a powerful witch named Akio, with motives shrouded in secrecy, threaten the Substation. Anya, Oliver, and their allies fight back, uncovering a stolen package coveted by the Crannions and a plot that could destroy the city.

Their desperate struggle takes them to the heart of the Crannion dominion – the Hypogeum Basement.  Through cunning and teamwork, they bypass the security measures and find themselves in an unsettling, physics-defying chamber.

The battle lines are drawn as Anya, her family, and allies face off against the Faceless Men and the threat of nuclear devastation.  Forced to make a difficult choice, Anya risks her own well-being to prevent a city-wide catastrophe.

But the war is far from over. A tear in the sky to the VERUM-VERSE opens, unleashing a new and even greater threat.  Will Anya, Oliver, and their allies be able to overcome this new challenge?
