In this way, if youth begin to involve in criminal activities then the development of nation or country begin to slow down. In Pakistan youth crime is becoming gigantic problem day by day. The study was carried out to assess the phenomenon of crime and socio-economic factors of youth crime prevailing in the society. The study revealed that large number of criminals came from low socio-economic community; therefore they cannot fulfill their basic needs so they commit crime for the fulfillment of their basic needs.Therefore opportunities should be there for youth development.
