She left Rudy when she discovered he was a heroin kingpin and not a postal worker, as he made himself out to be every morning when he left for work. Mary Ann took Belize with her when she left Rudy. It took a toll on him, but he continued his game plan to get money and someday get back at those racist people from his past. Rudy was Belize's hero, and if you see her today she will tell you very proudly, "My daddy was uh mobsta."
