In this regard, two diagnostic tools, agar gel immunodiffusion test and precipitinogen inhibition test, were compared and evaluated in parallel to immunocapture ELISA. This highlights the importance of PPRV and it is the need of the time to attract the attention of controlling authorities to this devastating disease.
