Commencements

English Summary: These "commencements" are those of a research program initiated by the Ecole Biblique et archeologique francaise in Jerusalem. The Bible in its Traditions series aims to bring together translations of the major versions of Scripture, their philological and historical annotations, and a systematic exploration of their religious and cultural interpretations over the centuries.
