Victorian England. William Adamson, a professor of mythology, is fond of the history of the ancient Sumerian civilization, once located in Mesopotamia. Archaeologists are trying to decipher them and understand that Gilgamesh is a real historical person, a descendant of the Anunnaki race, who came to Earth from the depths of space. Returning to England, Adamson publishes a scientific work in which he tries bit by bit to restore the history of aliens. And he openly speaks out in favor of the extraterrestrial origin of not only the many artifacts found, but also of the people themselves. And actually offers to rewrite the history of humanity...
