Omschrijving

The beautiful but psychotic Derro priestess, Lucrezia, undergoes a mysterious transformation to discover that she's actually a powerful psychic. She immediately leads her adoring followers on a rampage through the city of Sydney, seizing control of smaller domains on her way to overthrow the president, Charles Carulo.

Fleeing from the Oasian military, the cyborg Mission, Dr Naomi Vaugh, ex-police officer Sapphire Stone and actor Alex Lavelle finally arrive on the east coast. They are soon drawn into the battle with Lucrezia's Army, now many thousands strong and growing all the while.

In order to defeat such a juggernaut they are going to need help from someone immune to the evil priestess' phenomenal mental powers. But who is left with the ability to stand up to her?

Aid comes from a mysterious, secret realm known as the Backup Sector. They have been watching Lucrezia and her Derros for years. But even these individuals have their problems, suffering from a mysterious virus that is slowly picking them off, one by one.

And to make matters worse, a dark foe has followed Mission and his team from the Oasis, and nothing will stop him from fulfilling his purpose.
