Clean Ink is an anthology of recovery tattoos and poems written by those affected by addiction and those who are working on their recovery. Each poet tells their story of struggle and victory in a way that is both relatable and encouraging. The book has four sections: free verse, recovery tattoos, acrostic, and Japanese poetry (haiku, senyru, and tanka).
Half of the proceeds from this book go to the building of an art therapy program for the Field of Hope Community Campus, a community center located in Vinton, Ohio that provides drug and alcohol counseling, mental health counseling, food and local resources, and prevention measures for the youth.
