Esta monografía trata de analizar la introducción del urbanismo en el Bajo Guadalquivir a través de los resultados de una serie de trabajos llevados a cabo por el Grupo de Investigación De la Turdetania a la Bética (HUM-152) en la campiña de Sevilla. Se presentan de manera sintética las principales aportaciones arqueológicas, acompañadas de unas reflexiones sobre del urbanismo en la Tartéside, destacando el papel desempeñado por la colonización fenicia como factor desencadenante de este proceso histórico.The aim of the present monograph is to analyse the introduction of urbanism in the Lower Guadalquivir through the results of a series of studies carried out by the Research Group From Turdetania to Baetica (HUM-152) within the Seville countryside. The main archaeological contributions are presented in a synthetic way, accompanied by some reflections on urbanism in the Tartessian, highlighting the role played by the Phoenician colonization as a triggering factor of this historical process.
